Default Songs of 2005 (for all the music fans)

Ah, I'm just bored, so this is not relevant to Guild Wars (this is the off-topic place, right?) Now, any popular music/songs you guys are listening to right now?

Me?

-Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Green Day
-How Could You, Mario
-Obsession, Frankie J feat. Baby Bash
-Natalie, Going Crazy
-Jennifer Lopez, Hold You Down
-Mr. Lonely, Akon
-Take you to the Candy Shop, 50 Cent

Heh, my ultimate favourite songs of 2005, (so far)

So what are yours?

Pathetic, all of those songs.
2005 wasn't a bad year because it didn't end yet. Mainstream music sucks most of the time so the fact that 50 Cent is bad doesn't mean much.

Nothing from 2005 at all.

Although I listen to mainly Nightwish, Deep Purple, Rhapsody, Rammstien, X Japan, Dir En Grey, Blind Guardian, Bob Catley, Therion, Helloween, Stratovarius, Hide, Luca Turilli, Metallica and System of a Down.

With the exception of System of a Down, Dir En Grey, X Japan, Hide and Luca Turilli (never heard of those last three), I like your tastes in music .

Luca Turilli is the guitarist from Rhapsody. It's his solo project. To me, it sounds more like he went to Rhapsody "Hey guys, I'm gonna do a solo project. I'm gonna be the guitarist, but I need you guys to fill in for the rest of the parts.". Not that it's a bad thing

X Japan and Dir En Grey are Jrock bands. Dir En Grey still going, X Japan broke up a number of years ago, but if you haven't heard them, you're missing out.

Oh. Damn, it was a while I listened to Rhapsody. How could I forget this?

I never liked Dir En Grey. One of my classmates is a fan but I just can't stand them.

Green day is good... 2005 hasn't been great though... at least, not so far.

I do enjoy some songs of modern music (mostly green day) But classic rock is still my favourite. Hammerfall 4tw!

Hammerfall is as far from "classic" as it is from "rock".

I'll go with the common feeling in this thread and insult your taste of music.

Best songs of 2005 . . . .

...

Metal sucks.
Rap especailly sucks.
Mainstream sucks like rap, except it's white.
Green Day is below mainstream. They're like crackRED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOs in opium dens.

Eejit's got it on the ball though. There is nothing I've heard from this year which is worth listening to. Nightwish, Rhapsody and Rammstein all brought out their new albums late last year...

I respect your affinity for poor quality music. I however will not be silenced.

That is all.

Scissor Sisters.....ok well the cd was out in 2004 but since they are from GB I couldn't get it till it was out on iTunes in 2005 :-/ does that count?

Not sure but I think new APC cd was out in 2005 it wasn't that bad but I like mer de noms better.

EDIT: I like APC more than I like Tool is that wrong? (same singer if none of you knew)
